Join us for an inside look at life at SPS and what your children have been up to.
Can't make it to Millville but still want to take part?
This year, to provide programming that meets the needs of the broadest cross-section of families and aligns with the COVID protocols in place to protect our community, Family Weekend will include a mix of virtual, hybrid, and in-person experiences.

SCHEDULE OF EVENTS

11 AM - 6 PM  I  Family Weekend Check-In, Memorial Hall

Be sure to come by to pick up your Family Weekend essentials.

11 AM - 4 PM  I  Bookstore Open

The bookstore is open for all of your SPS apparel needs. For Sixth Form families, Jostens representative will be available 11 a.m. - 4 p.m. to answer any questions about purchasing class rings.

11 AM - 4 PM  I  St. Paul's School Permanent Collection: Prints & Printmaking, Crumpacker Gallery

The fall 2021 gallery show features original prints from the St. Paul’s School Permanent Collection. Featured techniques include drypoint, engraving, etching, linocut, lithography, monotype, woodcut, and Risograph printing. View examples of finished prints as well as some of the blocks and tools used to create them.

11:30 AM - 1:30 PM  I  Community Lunch, Coit Dining Hall 

Parents are invited to join their student for a casual lunch.

Noon  I  Student Led Tours, Meet at Memorial Hall 

Take a stroll with a student tour guide around the grounds.

1 PM  I  Parents@SPS Welcome Gathering, Friedman Community Center

Meet other parents and learn more about parent engagement opportunities available through Parents@SPS.

2 PM - 3 PM  I  **Keynote Speaker, Memorial Hall

Keynote speaker Nicole Curvin, dean of Admissions at Middlebury College, will share her perspective on the college search and application process. Join live in Memorial Hall or tune in virtually.

1:30 PM - 3 PM  I  Athletic Practices

In preparation for weekend games, students will participate in their regular athletic practices.

3 PM  I  Chapels History Tour, Chapel of St. Peter and St. Paul 

Learn the history of our Chapels and their renowned works of art with a tour offered by Leadership Giving Officer Heidi Anderson and Director of Parent Giving Angel Colarusso.

4:30 PM - 5:30 PM  I  Form Gatherings, Outdoor tents (locations to be shared during check-in)

Families are invited to a form specific gathering to meet and greet the families of your student’s peers.

5:30 PM  I  **Boys Varsity Soccer vs. Phillips Andover Academy, Bogle-Lechner Turf Field

5:30 PM  I  **Girls Varsity Volleyball vs. Phillips Andover Academy, AFC Form of 1952 Gymnasium

5 PM - 7:30 PM  I  Community Dinner, Coit Dining Hall

Parents are invited to join the school community in the dining hall for a casual dinner. Students may dine with families in town but must use the REACH system as they usually do when leaving the grounds.

5 PM - 7:30 PM  I  **SPS Ballet Company & Music Showcase, Memorial Hall

Enjoy the creative energies of the SPS Ballet Company, the orchestra, chamber ensembles, theatre students, and the Choirs. Join live in Memorial Hall or watch the performances virtually.

8:30 PM  I  Astronomy Open House, Hawley Observatory (weather pending)

8 AM - 10 AM  I  Family Weekend Check-In, XXXX
Be sure to come by to pick up your Family Weekend essentials including a cup of coffee and a donut before Chapel.

9 AM - 4 PM  I  Bookstore Open
The bookstore is open for all of your SPS apparel needs.

9 AM  I  **Chapel for Parents, Chapel of St. Peter & St. Paul and Virtual
A special chapel service with remarks from Rector Kathy Giles, and music by the Chapel Choir. Attend live or join virtually.

10 AM - 11:30 AM  I  Student Club Expo, Various locations
Fun blurb explaining what this is and how families will find out about different groups participating..

11:30 AM - 1:30 PM  I  Luncheon for the School Community, Stovell Tennis Courts
